I had a Bankruptcy over 10 years ago. I recently bought a car and the Bankruptcy is still appearing on my credit report. I was still able to buy the car by showing my Bankruptcy discharge papers.
I posted a question earlier and it was answered (I will not be hiring a professional credit repair company). But I’d like to know EXACTLY how I can go about disputing a collection I have paid off to get it removed from my credit report.
