I just recently received a judgment from small claims court for a medical bill debt of $500. When will it be reported to the credit bureau and is there a way to prevent this should I come up with the money to satisfy the debt?
I have a jdugment on my credit report due to a civil lawsuit and I just want to know how this can effect me long term. I am a student, so can it prevent me from requesting student loans? What can it prevent me from doing with a judgment on my credit?
