I’m a 599 but just got my credit report and noticed that some negative items are wrong (one is a charge off for 1000 on a loan I never even heard of). And some items that are real are duplicated. If I get rid of the false one, how many points should I increase?
I have a FICO score of 620 (it was about 545 about 8 months ago) and I just finished paying of one of my credit cards and have 2 more to go. I’m thinking of requesting a credit increase. Will this hurt my score?
