We have been working on our credit and I have paid perfect on my car for two years and just recently received a small credit card and I have paid that perfect also. I am ready to trade in my car but I am going to wait till December of this year probably at which point my # of inquiries will have dropped significantly. I didn’t realize the damage I was doing until one day I realized I had some where around 65-70 inquiries. I have since then left my credit alone other than disputes and my annual free credit report by December I will be down to only 16 inquiries and I do not have but maybe two carge off accounts that are over three years old so hopefully my hard work has paid off I was just wondering what an average amount of inquiries is that doesn’t seem to do as much damage to the credit scores is?
