Can I use my EIN to apply for credit instead of my SSN? Will this reflect on my Transunion or Experian report

You can only use your FEIN if you applying for credit for your business. If you use an FEIN to create a new credit history for personal use, that’s fraud!
Credit bureaus will create two separate reports based on your FEIN and your social.
Some bad credit repair companies may suggest for you to get an FEIN to create a new credit history. But as stated earlier, that’s illegal!

illegal or not, always you will have issues with the number anyways such like “Invalid SSN” but you will get credit eventually, just like illegal aliens can get credit by using their TAX ID which is 9 digits just like social but not valid like ssn.
