Providian/Washington mutual credit card will soon no longer provide a free fico score since it was taken over by chase bank.

dont know about which credit cards offer free fico scores but you can go to http://www.freecreditreport.com
My WAMU card provides a free monthly credit analysis and I’m pretty sure a FICO score.
I just got the email that March 1st no more free FICO score. I really loved that about my providian card and was glad WAMU kept it up. There isn’t one. Sorry
Sears Solution MasterCard
Also, since WAMU is changing to Chase they are doing away with the free FICO score.
Providian originaly gave a free FICO score. WAMU purchased Providian and still maintained the service. Now Chase bought WAMU and will no longer offer that particular service. For free credit reports go to http://www.annualcreditreport.com This is the official website created by the 3 agencies.
I found a nice online list of Washington local credit card resources. http://www.howtofindcreditcard.com/Washington-Credit-Cards.html Try calling a nearby company and they can answer your questions.
The free FICO monitoring was the only reason I kept my WaMu card, since it didn’t offer rewards. I’ve just cancelled it. I recommend others do the same.
I googled this and Barclays/Juniper apparently once offered the feature but no longer do. HSBC doesn’t advertise this feature on their website, though others have cited the HSBC Sears card as having the feature.
