Any good credit monitoring services that give you your FICO score free as well…?
Jan, 2010 in Free Fico ScoreI want a good monitoring service where the reports are easy to access whenever I want… covers all three major bureaus and also provides updated FICO scores with the service and not for an additional fee.
If you know of any good ones – especially from personal experience — let me know.. thanks
I’ve used one in the past and it has saved my butt several times.. so whoever says it’s a waste of money, it hasn’t been for me. Peace of mind is worth $10 a month if it can save me drama down the road. thanks
btw.. a lot can happen to a credit report in a year.. so to only get one each every 4 months doesn’t work.

A credit score is typically given with any paid monitoring. I advise you that, if you are going to pay to monitor your credit, to use myfico.com. That site is typically more up-to-date, and therefore, more trusted by lenders than other sources.
Why do you need monitoring services? Unless your information has been compromised, paid monitoring services are pretty much a waste of money.
You can space out your free credit reports to one credit bureau every 4 months (AnnualCreditReport.com). Check for errors. As long as you pay all your bills on time, you score will take care of itself.
